Safety Operating Procedures: Building a Solid Safety Line in Production. Operators must undergo professional training and be familiar with the operating procedures of dry fish feed production equipment before starting work. During operation, protective equipment must be worn correctly: wear high-temperature resistant gloves to avoid contact with the high-temperature extrusion chamber, die head, and discharge particles to prevent burns; wear dust masks to avoid inhaling raw material dust and protect the respiratory tract; wear protective goggles to prevent raw material debris from splashing into the eyes. Operators are strictly prohibited from putting their hands or tools into dangerous areas such as the feed hopper, extrusion chamber, and discharge port while the equipment is running. If cleaning or adjustment is required, the machine must be stopped and the power disconnected first. Before operating the equipment, check that the safety protection devices (such as protective covers and emergency stop buttons) are intact and effective. Protective covers must be securely installed, and emergency stop buttons must be sensitive and reliable. Overloading the equipment is strictly prohibited. Adjust the feeding speed according to the rated capacity of the equipment to avoid motor overload and fire. For example, for equipment with a production capacity of 150 kg/h, the feeding speed must not exceed 180 kg/h.

Common Fault Handling: Rapid Response and Resolution. First, screw jamming, manifested as abnormal noise, decreased speed, and sudden pressure increase in the dry-type fish feed making machine. The solution is to immediately stop the machine and disconnect the power, allowing the equipment to cool to below 50°C. Disassemble the screw to remove any residual material, and check if the material's moisture content and particle size meet requirements (excessive moisture or uneven particle size can easily cause jamming). After troubleshooting, reinstall and restart the machine. Forcing the machine to start is strictly prohibited, as this could cause the motor to burn out or the screw to break. Second, die blockage, manifested as interrupted discharge and sudden pressure increase. The solution is to stop the machine, disconnect the power, and allow it to cool down. Disassemble the die to remove any blockages, check if the die orifice is deformed, replace or repair it, and reinstall it. Simultaneously, check if the material contains impurities. Third, insufficient pellet expansion, manifested as hard pellets that sink too slowly. The solution is to increase the screw speed and decrease the feed rate to increase frictional heat and extrusion pressure; check the raw material moisture content, ensuring it is within the range of 10%-14%; if the screw is severely worn, replace it promptly.

Emergency handling and risk avoidance: Establish a rapid response mechanism. If the motor trips due to overload, wait for the motor to cool down, check the feed rate and equipment load, reduce the feed rate or troubleshoot the Dry Type floating fish feed pellet making machine, and then restart it. If the equipment overheats or emits an unusual odor, immediately stop the machine and disconnect the power. Check the motor and electrical wiring to prevent short circuits and fires. In case of burns, pinching injuries, or other safety accidents, stop production immediately, provide first aid to the injured, and seek medical treatment if the injuries are severe. To avoid malfunctions, regularly maintain the equipment, standardize operating procedures, and establish an equipment operation log to record running time, parameter adjustments, and fault handling information for easy traceability and early fault prediction. For example, checking the equipment status before each day's production and promptly cleaning and maintaining it after production can significantly reduce the failure rate.
