Do wet floating fish feed making machines Support Feed Production for Other Aquatic Species?

Parameters for wet fish feed pellet processing machine: Balancing buoyancy and palatability
Soft-shelled turtles and bullfrogs prefer floating feed. The extruder temperature is controlled at 130-150℃, and the pressure at 4-5MPa to ensure the pellets form a uniform porous structure with a buoyancy rate ≥95%. The screw speed is 280-320r/min to extend the raw material residence time, allowing the pellets to fully cook and have a soft, chewy texture suitable for amphibians' chewing ability. The die orifice diameter is selected at 2-5mm, and the cutter speed is precisely controlled to produce cylindrical pellets for easy consumption.
Formula adjustment: Adapted to the nutritional needs of amphibians
Soft-shelled turtles and bullfrogs are primarily carnivorous but omnivorous organisms. The formula contains 40%-50% animal protein, using fish meal, chicken meal, and silkworm pupa meal, with a balanced amino acid profile. Starch accounts for 30%-35%, using corn flour and wheat flour to provide support for extrusion molding. 5%-8% oil is added to improve palatability and energy supply, using a post-oil spraying process to avoid oil oxidation caused by the high temperature of the wet fish feed making machine.
Wet fish feed making machine adaptation details: Avoiding production risks
Raw material moisture content should be controlled at 12%-13% to prevent clogging of the extruder die due to excessive moisture, and to avoid affecting the extrusion effect if too low. Regularly clean the screw and die of the extruder to prevent scorching of animal protein residue, which would affect feed quality. For juvenile soft-shelled turtles and bullfrogs, lower the extruder temperature to 110-120℃ and reduce the particle size to 1-2mm to ensure easy digestibility.
